Combined Energetic and Exergetic Performance Analysis of Air Bubbles Injection into a Plate Heat Exchanger: An Experimental Study

This paper aims to give a comprehensive energetic-exergetic performance analysis on the impacts of injecting-submillimeter air bubbles into both sides cold and hot water streams before entrance port corrugated plate heat exchanger (C-PHE) having ten plates within counterflow configuration. Hence, optimize energy exergy effectiveness at different operating conditions for counter parallel fluid flow configurations. Hot were studied in seven rates ranging from 280 L/h 880 with regular step 100 L/h, constant temperature cold-water stream 50 °C 290 respectively. was discharged four between 150 840 L/h. The obtained results showed vital role ABI technique enhancing NTU by 59% 18.6%, respectively, CWS. entropy generation reduced 0.038 W/K augmentation number 0.087 low airflow rate CWS, which are main parameters evaluating EGM. These two increase Witte-Shamsundar-efficiency maximum value 98.6% same conditions. Moreover, enhanced 80.9% high volumetric thermo-economic assessment has been carried out, revelers positive effects combined energetic exergetic sides, i.e., sides.
